Custom Hoodie Printing in Chino, CA

Bold, durable prints on hoodies and sweatshirts, produced in-house at our family-owned Chino shop — built to handle heavier fabric and higher ink coverage than a standard t-shirt.

Custom Hoodie Printing

MyLogoMax prints custom hoodies and sweatshirts using screen printing and DTF, produced in-house at our shop in Chino, California, serving Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, Corona, Fontana, Pomona, Los Angeles, and the surrounding Inland Empire since 2007. Hoodies can be screen printed the same general way as t-shirts — ink pressed through a mesh stencil — but the heavier fleece fabric and thicker seams require adjusted ink coverage and press settings to get a clean, lasting print.

Fabric matters

How Hoodie Printing Differs From T-Shirt Printing

Hoodies and sweatshirts are made from heavier, often textured fleece fabric, which behaves differently under a screen than a lightweight cotton tee. We use higher ink deposits and adjusted curing settings to make sure the print sits properly on the fabric surface instead of sinking in or cracking over time.

Hood seams, drawstrings, and front pockets also affect where a design can be placed — large back or full-front designs work well, but chest logos need to avoid zipper lines or pocket seams on certain styles. That's also why an oversized, highly detailed design that works fine on a tee sometimes needs simplifying for a hoodie.

Who Orders Custom Hoodies

Custom hoodies are especially popular for cold-weather events, school spirit wear, sports teams, and staff uniforms that need to hold up through fall and winter. We also see steady demand from fundraisers and nonprofits selling hoodies as a higher-value merchandise item, and from corporate offices ordering zip-up hoodies as part of a staff apparel package.

Because hoodies read as a more premium item than a basic tee, they're also a common choice for senior class shirts, alumni gear, and retail-style merchandise drops.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can hoodies be screen printed the same way as t-shirts?
Yes, using the same basic screen printing process, but hoodies require adjusted ink coverage and curing settings because fleece fabric is heavier and thicker than a standard t-shirt. Placement also needs to account for hoods, drawstrings, and pockets.
Does hoodie printing cost more than t-shirt printing?
Hoodie and sweatshirt blanks generally cost more than basic t-shirts, which affects the total price, but the printing process itself is priced the same way — based on design size, colors, and quantity. Contact us at (909) 590-5656 for a quote comparing both.
Is there a minimum order for custom hoodies?
Screen printing works best for orders of 24 or more hoodies, since that's where the setup cost starts paying off. For smaller orders, DTF printing has no minimum and works well on fleece.
Can I order hoodies in youth and adult sizes together?
Yes — mixed youth and adult sizing in one order is common for school and family event orders. Let us know your size breakdown when you request a quote.
How long does custom hoodie printing take?
Standard turnaround is typically within a week from art approval, with rush options available ahead of cold-weather events or fundraisers on a deadline.
Can a large design be printed on the back of a hoodie?
Yes — full-back designs are one of the most popular placements for hoodies, since the flat back panel gives more room than a t-shirt for larger, more detailed artwork. We can quote front-and-back designs as a single combined order.
