Monogramming vs. Embroidery
Monogramming and embroidery use the exact same stitching process — monogramming is really just embroidery applied to a specific kind of content: initials or a name, usually small and simply styled, rather than a full logo or detailed graphic.
Because monogram designs are typically simpler, they're often quicker to digitize than a complex logo, and they scale easily from a single personal item to a full team or staff order. If you're branding a business with a company logo, that's standard logo embroidery; if you're adding someone's name or initials to an individual item, that's monogramming.
