Custom Hat & Cap Embroidery in Chino, CA

Structured, trucker, flat-brim, and unstructured caps, embroidered in-house at our family-owned Chino shop — stitched, not printed, for a logo that holds its shape wear after wear.

Can Any Hat Be Embroidered?

Most caps can be embroidered, but structured caps with a firm front panel — like classic 6-panel caps, trucker caps, and flat-brim snapbacks — hold stitching the cleanest, which is why they're the standard choice for logo embroidery.

Why structured

Why Structured Caps Hold Embroidery Best

A cap's front panel needs to stay flat and stable while it moves through the embroidery machine — structured caps have a buckram or foam backing that keeps the panel rigid during stitching, which produces sharper edges and more consistent letter shapes.

Unstructured and knit caps flex more, so the design has to be digitized with that movement in mind, sometimes limiting how fine the detail can be. That's why cap embroidery is treated as its own specialty rather than simply embroidery on a smaller garment — the curved, structured surface changes how a design is built from the start.

Digitizing, Puff & Placement

Cap digitizing is different from digitizing a flat garment, because the machine stitches onto a curved, structured surface. We also offer 3D puff embroidery — a foam backing under the stitching that raises bold lettering off the surface for extra dimension, popular for text-heavy or retro-style logos. Let us know if you want a puff look, since it's digitized differently from standard flat embroidery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can any hat be embroidered with a custom logo?
Most caps can be embroidered, but structured caps with a firm front panel — like 6-panel caps, trucker caps, and flat-brim snapbacks — hold stitching the cleanest. Unstructured and knit caps can also be embroidered, with digitizing adjusted for the softer fabric.
Is there a minimum order for cap embroidery?
No — like our other embroidery services, cap embroidery is cost-effective even for a single hat, since there's no per-piece screen setup. Ordering multiple caps at once helps spread out the one-time digitizing fee.
What is 3D puff embroidery?
3D puff embroidery uses a foam backing under the stitching to raise bold lettering or logos off the cap's surface for extra dimension. It's popular for text-heavy or retro-style designs and is digitized differently from standard flat embroidery.
How long does cap embroidery take?
Standard turnaround is typically within a week from digitized proof approval, with rush options available for time-sensitive team or event orders.
Can I order caps in bulk for a team or event?
Yes — bulk cap orders are common for sports teams, staff uniforms, and event giveaways. Once your logo is digitized, reorders in any quantity use the same file, so restocking is fast.
