Custom Workwear & Safety Apparel in Chino, CA

Branded work shirts, hi-vis apparel, and durable outerwear for construction and trade crews, embroidered or printed in-house at our family-owned Chino shop — without compromising the safety features your crew depends on.

Can Hi-Vis / Safety Apparel Be Custom Branded?

Yes — hi-vis and safety apparel can be custom branded, but the logo needs to be placed and applied in a way that doesn't cover, interrupt, or damage the garment's reflective striping or certification labeling.

Safety first

Understanding Hi-Vis Safety Ratings

High-visibility safety apparel is typically rated against ANSI/ISEA 107 standards in the U.S., which classify garments by visibility level and set requirements for reflective material placement and background fabric color.

These ratings depend on the garment itself — its fabric, reflective tape, and construction — not on any decoration added to it. But decoration placed incorrectly can still interfere with a garment's visibility performance if it covers or replaces reflective material.

Please note: MyLogoMax does not certify or re-certify garments to ANSI/ISEA or any other safety standard. If your crew requires certified hi-vis apparel, confirm the blank garment's certification with its manufacturer before ordering, and let us know so we can place your logo without affecting reflective striping.

Decoration That Works Around Safety Features

For hi-vis garments, we place logos on solid background fabric areas rather than over or near reflective striping, keeping the garment's visibility features fully intact. For standard (non-hi-vis) workwear like work shirts and jackets, decoration placement is more flexible, but we'll still account for pockets, zippers, and reinforced seams common on heavier-duty garments.

Decoration Methods for Workwear

Embroidery is generally the most durable option for workwear, holding up to repeated washing, sun exposure, and daily wear-and-tear better than a printed logo. Screen printing and custom patches are also available — patches in particular are useful for workwear since they can be sewn onto multiple garments or replaced without redoing the entire piece.

Who Orders Custom Workwear

Construction and trade businesses are our most common workwear customers, alongside landscaping crews, warehouse and logistics operations, and utility or field service companies that need their team identifiable and branded on job sites. A recognizable, branded crew also helps on active job sites and client properties, where clients and site supervisors need to quickly tell who's authorized to be there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can hi-vis or safety apparel be custom branded?
Yes — hi-vis apparel can be branded as long as the logo is placed on solid background fabric rather than over reflective striping. This keeps the garment's visibility features intact while still displaying your company logo.
Does adding a logo affect a garment's safety certification?
Decoration placed correctly, away from reflective tape and certification labeling, shouldn't affect a garment's rating, but MyLogoMax doesn't certify or re-certify garments to any safety standard. Confirm your blank garment's certification with its manufacturer, and let us know if it's hi-vis so we plan logo placement accordingly.
What's the most durable decoration method for workwear?
Embroidery is generally the most durable option for workwear, holding up to repeated washing and daily wear better than a printed logo. Custom patches are also a durable, easy-to-replace option for work garments.
Is there a minimum order for custom workwear?
Embroidery has no minimum order, so a small crew is a normal order. Screen printing works best for 24 or more pieces if that's the method chosen for standard work shirts.
Can I add both a company logo and an employee name to workwear?
Yes — many workwear orders combine a company logo with individual employee names, which is a form of monogramming. We can quote both together as one order.
Do you offer replacement patches for existing workwear?
Yes — once your logo is digitized as a patch, reordering replacement patches for worn or damaged garments is a fast, simple process using the same file.
